Commercial and Industrial Roof Cleaning

Many warehouse buildings have corrugated steel sheet roof panels manufactured by British Steel (Corus). These are coated with a plasticised paint that protects from corrosion. When the panels get dirty the dirt and algae accumulate at the panel joints where they pool water and retain moisture. This causes the coating to separate from the panel and corrode causing expensive repairs which due to the lack of maintenance are excluded by normal warranties.

Roofs that are constructed with slate or tiles suffer from algae build up, often becoming so deep it acts like a carpet and holds moisture. Even during the warmer months this moisture remains, softening the surface, however in the winter this moisture freezes and can cause frost shattering within the tile which will eventually lead to the worst of them dropping off.

• Our commercial car park previously looked like a derelict car park, an invitation to people dumping unwanted rubbish, it was overgrown with weeds that had escaped through the cracks and the sand between the cracks had long gone a perfect habitat for unwanted lodgers in the form of insects. Chewing gum was also another ghastly site that must of made Fellow business men turning up for meetings just want to jump at the chance to do business with us!!!

• Abusive and offensive slogans were left on our company building. After returning back to work on a Monday morning I discovered the side of my property that had an alley way access was covered in abusive graffiti not for the faint hearted.
